Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy
At Govan, we stand behind the authentic Vedic quality of every jar of Gir Cow Ghee, bottle of Cold-Pressed Mustard Oil, pack of Dry Fruits, and jar of Forest Honey. We strive to make your shopping experience trustworthy and straightforward.
1. Food Safety & Return Eligibility
Because Govan produces perishable food items meant for direct human consumption, in accordance with FSSAI health and safety standards, opened or unsealed products cannot be physically returned or resold.
However, you are eligible for an immediate 100% replacement or refund under the following circumstances:
- The product was damaged, chipped, or broken in transit.
- The safety seal on the jar/bottle was tampered with prior to delivery.
- You received an incorrect item or variant differing from your order confirmation.
- The product has passed its declared shelf-life on the date of receipt.
2. 7-Day Window to Report Issues
Any complaint regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect products must be reported to our support team within 7 calendar days from the date of package delivery. Please attach:
- Your Order ID (e.g., #GOV-2024-XXXX)
- Photographs showing the parcel outer label, invoice, and the affected product
- A short description of the defect
3. Refund Processing Timelines
Once your claim is validated by our customer care team (usually within 12 business hours):
- Prepaid Orders (Razorpay): Refunds are credited back to the original payment source (Credit/Debit Card, UPI handle, or NetBanking account) within 5 to 7 working days as per banking network standards.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Refunds are processed directly to your bank account or UPI ID via secure NEFT/IMPS transfer within 48 hours of bank detail submission.
4. Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before the package is dispatched from our facility. Once dispatched with an assigned courier AWB tracking number, the order cannot be cancelled in transit.
